When the British soldiers arrived on the Lexington Common not long after sunrise, they faced 77 men of the Lexington militia, commanded by Captain John Parker.
Someone-still unknown to this day—fired a shot, provoking an exchange of musket fire between the two sides. After the rout, the British marched on toward Concord.
There, several hundred militia and minute men from nearby towns assembled near the Old North Bridge to turn back the British and prevent them from capturing and destroying the Colony's stores of gunpowder and military equipment.

I am from Lexington, but try to take the opportunity to explore new places and old jaunts. A quick overnight lead to pleasant surprise.
My sister and our daughters enjoy overnight trips for shopping and relaxation. Due to the excessive summer heat we chose this hotel because of the outdoor pool.
It was a lovely experience from start to finish. The way that they shopping structures around it outside are situated, it gives the hotel a cul de sac feel.
All of your needs are nearby. Our two room queen did not make note of a "suite". Hence our surprise at the "bonus " in the room. We will come again.

A lot of the business places was unfriendly. A lot of the area needs cleaned up from the needles and needle tops stoped at many places and saw this almost at every location.
It was easy to get to, was relatively quiet and decent area within walking distance of a gas station, McDonalds, and Bob Evans. The room itself was clean and comfortable.
Shower was hot and decent water pressure. Linens were good, bed was cozy. Fridge worked well for a few items we had.
Breakfast on Sunday morning was solid. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would most definitely look to stay here again if we come up for a UT-UK game.
